Restream Pricing 2026: Standard Plan, Cost
Restream pricing read live off restream.io in September 2026: Free at $0 for 2 channels, Standard at $19 a month ($190 a year), Professional at $49 ($470) and Business at $239 ($2,390). The plans are sold on simultaneous channels, from 2 up to 8. The advertised Save 20 percent is exactly 16.67 percent on Standard and Business and only reaches 20.07 percent on Professional, recordings are deleted after 15 days on both lower paid tiers, and an extra workspace on Business costs $239 a month, the price of the plan itself.

Restream pricing in 2026 is three published paid plans plus a quote-only Enterprise tier: Free at $0 for 2 channels, Standard at $19 a month ($190 a year), Professional at $49 a month ($470 a year) and Business at $239 a month ($2,390 a year). The plans are sold on how many channels you can broadcast to at once, from 2 up to 8. Extra team seats are $25 per seat per month. We read the pricing page and switched its own billing toggle on September 5, 2026.
Restream is a multistreaming platform: one broadcast goes out to YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitch and 30-plus other destinations at the same time, either from its browser studio or from OBS and similar encoders. The price ladder is easy to read and mostly honest. What it does not tell you is that two of the three annual discounts are smaller than the badge above them, that recordings are deleted on a timer, and that the add-on rows in the comparison table include one charge the size of an entire plan.
Restream pricing plans at a glance
| Plan | Monthly | Annual (per month) | Billed annually | Channels |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | $0 | 2 |
| Standard | $19 | $15.83 | $190 | 3 |
| Professional | $49 | $39.17 | $470 | 5 |
| Business | $239 | $199.17 | $2,390 | 8 |
| Enterprise | Contact sales | Custom | ||
The per-month annual figures above are the billed total divided by twelve, not the rounded numbers Restream prints on the card. Restream displays $16, $39 and $199; the arithmetic gives $15.83, $39.17 and $199.17. The difference is small but it is the reason the discount badge does not hold up.
How much does Restream cost per month?
On monthly billing, $19 for Standard, $49 for Professional and $239 for Business. That last jump is the one to plan around: Business costs 388 percent more than Professional and it is the only self-serve way to reach 8 simultaneous channels. There is no rung between $49 and $239, so a broadcaster who needs a sixth destination pays $190 a month more for it.
Everything above the channel count is included rather than metered. Restream does not bill separately for bandwidth or transcoding, and its own FAQ is explicit on both points: you need no additional bandwidth to multistream even to 30 destinations, and there are no bitrate limits imposed by Restream, though individual platforms set their own. Video quality is 4K 2160p on every tier including Free, because Restream passes through your original resolution and frame rate rather than re-encoding down.
Is Restream's 20 percent annual discount real?
The pricing page puts a Save 20% badge next to the annual toggle. We flipped the toggle, read the billed-annually line on each card, and divided.
| Plan | Monthly x 12 | Billed annually | Saved per year | Real discount |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $228 | $190 | $38 | 16.67% |
| Professional | $588 | $470 | $118 | 20.07% |
| Business | $2,868 | $2,390 | $478 | 16.67% |
The badge is accurate on exactly one plan, and it is the middle one. Standard and Business both land on 16.67 percent, and there is a tidy reason they match: $190 is exactly ten times $19, and $2,390 is exactly ten times $239. Both are the old pay-for-ten-months-get-twelve deal, which is 16.67 percent by construction. Professional breaks the pattern at $470, which is $20 cheaper than the ten-month rule would produce, and that $20 is the entire difference between a real 20 percent and a rounded one.
In dollars the gap is modest, $8 a year on Standard, but the habit is worth keeping. This is the seventh vendor in this category where the annual badge quotes the best tier and lets the others borrow it. StreamYard advertises 22 percent off and delivers 20.00 percent on Core and 22.47 percent on Advanced. Divide before you commit twelve months.
What is Restream's Standard plan?
Standard is the entry paid tier at $19 a month, or $190 a year. Against the free plan it adds a third simultaneous channel, removes Restream branding from your stream, and enables guest channels, which let guests attach their own accounts to your broadcast so it goes out to their audience too. It also lifts on-screen participants from 6 to 10 and background music genres from 3 to 22.
Two limits stay put on Standard and catch people out. The browser studio is capped at 720p; Full HD 1080p in Restream Studio starts on Professional. And each recording is capped at 6 hours, against 10 hours higher up. If you use OBS or another encoder rather than Restream Studio, the 720p cap does not apply to your outgoing stream, because Restream passes your feed through untouched. The cap is a Studio limit, not a multistreaming limit, which is a distinction the feature table makes you work for.
What Professional buys, and what it does not
Professional at $49 adds two channels (5 total), Full HD 1080p in Studio, 4K Ultra HD recording, dual format streaming so you can send horizontal to YouTube and vertical to TikTok in the same broadcast, and a longer 10-hour recording cap.
What it does not add is storage. Recording storage is 15 days on Standard and 15 days on Professional. Professional costs 158 percent more than Standard and your recordings are deleted on exactly the same schedule. If your problem is that clips are disappearing before you get to them, upgrading to Professional does not fix it; only Business, at 30 days, holds anything longer, and even that is a month rather than an archive.
What happens to your Restream recordings
Restream stores recordings in the cloud and measures the allowance in days rather than gigabytes or hours: 15 days on Standard and Professional, 30 days on Business, and a custom period on Enterprise. Everything you record is kept, and then it is deleted.
This is the opposite model to most of the category, which sells you a fixed permanent library. It suits anyone who downloads a recording the same week and edits elsewhere, and it is genuinely cheaper for that person. It is the wrong product for anyone who treats the recording as the archive, because a broadcast from two months ago is simply gone. Build the download step into your workflow on day one rather than discovering the policy in month three.
How much does Restream Clips cost?
Clips turns a finished stream into short vertical cuts for TikTok and Reels. It is an add-on billed on top of the plan, not an included feature, and unusually for this category it does get cheaper as you buy more.
| Plan tier | Add-on price | Clips included | Cost per clip |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | +$19/mo | 50 | 38.0 cents |
| Professional | +$29/mo | 100 | 29.0 cents |
| Business | +$59/mo | 250 | 23.6 cents |
Buying the largest bundle costs 3.1 times the smallest and returns 5 times the clips, so the volume discount is real, at 38 percent off the unit rate between the ends of the ladder. That is worth saying because most tools we price in this category charge a perfectly flat unit rate and reserve bulk discounts for a sales call.
The catch is that the tier of the add-on is fixed to the tier of your plan. You cannot buy 250 clips on Standard. If clips are the reason you are here, the plan you need is set by the clip count, not by the channel count, and that can push a two-channel broadcaster onto a $239 plan for reasons that have nothing to do with broadcasting.
What the Webinars add-on and extra seats cost
Webinars is the other add-on on the plan cards, priced by audience size: $99 a month for 100 attendees on Standard, $99 a month for 100 attendees on Professional, and $299 a month for 500 attendees on Business. Note the first two. The same 100-attendee capacity costs the same $99 whether it is bolted to a $19 plan or a $49 one, so the add-on carries no relationship to what you already pay. Per attendee it works out at 99.0 cents at the small size and 59.8 cents at the large one.
Teams are priced separately again. Business includes 2 team seats, and additional seats are published at $25 per seat per month, which is one of the few seat rates anyone in this category publishes at all. Roles and access control, co-producer mode and team workspaces sit on Business.
The charge worth flagging to whoever signs the invoice is workspaces. Restream lists them at $49 per workspace per month on Professional and $239 per workspace per month on Business, which is the full price of the Business plan again. An agency running a separate workspace per client is not buying an add-on, it is buying another subscription each time, and that is presented as a row in a feature comparison table rather than as a price.
Put a realistic small team together and the published entry price stops being the number: Business at $239, three extra seats at $25 each, and the 250-clip bundle at $59 comes to $373 a month before anyone asks for a second workspace. The company that started this search saw $19.
What does Restream Enterprise cost?
Restream does not publish an Enterprise price and you should not trust anyone who quotes one. The tier is sold by demo and is aimed at media and corporate teams. What it adds over Business is documented: single sign-on and a security review, multiple workspaces, dedicated account management, SRT ingest, stream backup, unlimited Upload and Stream, custom channel counts, custom seats, custom recording length and storage, central billing and team onboarding.
Those are the usual procurement requirements rather than broadcasting features, which tells you what the tier is for. If nothing on that list is a hard requirement, Business at $239 is the ceiling of what Restream will sell you without a conversation. Teams that end up on Enterprise mainly for the internal-comms use case, streaming all-hands and training sessions to staff, often find the streaming half was never the hard part and that tracking who actually completed the training is a separate system entirely.
Is Restream cheaper than StreamYard?
Up to five destinations, comfortably. Beyond that, no, and the reversal is sharp. Restream's Standard at $19 covers 3 channels where StreamYard's Core costs $44.99 for 3 destinations, so StreamYard is 137 percent dearer for the same reach. At five channels Restream's Professional is $49 against StreamYard's Advanced at $88.99.
At eight it flips. Restream's eighth channel only exists on Business at $239 a month, while StreamYard's eighth destination is still on Advanced at $88.99, making StreamYard $150.01 a month cheaper for identical reach. The complication is that StreamYard's Plan Usage Policy reserves Core and Advanced for individual use, so a company cannot legitimately buy the plan that wins. The full breakdown, including annual figures and the seat rules on both sides, is in our Restream vs StreamYard pricing comparison.
Which Restream plan should you buy?
Start from the destination count, because that is the only thing the ladder is really sold on. Two channels and you never need to pay. Three channels, no Studio requirement above 720p, and a habit of downloading recordings promptly, and Standard at $19 is genuinely good value and the cheapest credible multistreaming subscription in the category.
Move to Professional at $49 for one of three specific reasons: you need a fourth or fifth channel, you broadcast from Restream Studio and need 1080p, or you want dual format streaming so vertical and horizontal go out together. Do not move to it for storage, because it does not have any more.
Business at $239 is a team purchase rather than a broadcasting one. You are buying the website player, 1,000 concurrent viewers, two seats, co-producer mode, workspaces and stream disconnect protection. If you only want the eighth channel, price StreamYard's Advanced plan first, and price it honestly against whether you are an individual or an organisation.
And if you arrived at a multistreaming comparison because you need more video for paid social rather than a live show, neither plan is the purchase. Broadcasting produces one long asset on a schedule; ad testing needs several short vertical files that differ from each other. AdsGen takes a product URL and returns finished UGC-style ads in 9:16 with burned-in captions, several hooks per pass, with no session to record and nobody to book. Our breakdown of what AI UGC ad generation costs sets that against the per-video rates you would otherwise pay a creator.
