MakeUGC vs Creatify vs AdsGen: AI UGC ad tools compared
The short answer
MakeUGC and Creatify are the two closest same-category rivals in AI UGC ad creative, and their entry plans run in opposite directions. Creatify Starter is $39 a month for 100 credits and 300 AI actors. MakeUGC Startup is $59 a month for 500 credits and 1,000+ AI creators, so it costs 51% more and carries five times the credits and three times the cast. Credits are not a shared unit between the two, and only Creatify publishes a conversion anchor: its own FAQ says 10 credits make up to 2 video ads. The detail neither marketing page leads with is that both Pro tiers are sliders. Creatify Pro runs 200 to 5,000 credits a month and its price card does not render at all, and MakeUGC Pro is quoted at $149 against a 2,000, 3,000 or 5,000 credit slider. On both tools, the Pro price you have read somewhere is the floor. Creatify also lists one seat on Starter and one seat on Pro, so neither published plan is a team plan.
MakeUGC and Creatify are the pairing where a comparison actually earns its keep. Most matchups in this category are really category mismatches, an ad tool against a corporate video platform, and the answer falls out in a paragraph. These two genuinely do the same job: cast an AI creator, put your product in their hands, and hand back a vertical clip you can run on Meta or TikTok tomorrow.
So the decision comes down to details that neither pricing page puts side by side, and both pages are built to be read quickly rather than carefully. This one compares them on what a plan really buys once you convert credits into finished ads, what the Pro tiers actually cost, how many people can log in, and where the throughput limits hide. AdsGen is our product, so it sits in a third column rather than at the bottom, and the rows where the other two win are still in the table.

| Unlimited generation | Offered on named models, but it runs in the standard queue while credits use the priority queue | No unlimited concept: everything draws on credits | No queue tiering |
| Concurrency | Up to 10 videos and 10 images in parallel on every platform tier | Not published per tier on the plan table | Batches generated per request |
| Beyond generating the video | Product-in-hand video, video agent, PDF to video, API plans from $99 | Ad launcher for Meta, TikTok and AppLovin, competitor tracker for up to 10 brands, ad insights | Deliberately narrow: finished ads, no wider suite |
| Video length ceiling | Not published on the pricing page | Up to 2 minutes on Starter, up to 10 minutes on Pro | Short-form ad lengths only |

What each one costs
Both plan tables below were read off each vendor's own pricing page on August 16, 2026. Creatify publishes Starter at $39 a month for 100 credits, including the Creative Agent, 300 realistic AI actors, 200+ ad templates, 50+ premium image, video and audio models, 75+ languages, watermark removal, 5GB of smart assets and video up to 2 minutes. Pro is sold on a credit slider running from 200 to 5,000 credits a month and adds 1,500 AI actors, 500+ templates, 100+ premium models, an ad launcher for Meta, TikTok and AppLovin, a competitor ad tracker covering up to 10 brands, 10GB of storage and video up to 10 minutes. Note that Creatify's Pro price card does not server-render behind the credit slider, so we can confirm the plan contents but not a current headline price for it. Its compare table lists 1 seat on Starter and 1 seat on Pro, and Enterprise is custom. A free tier exists but appears only in the pricing FAQ, verbatim: "The Free Plan includes 10 monthly credits. Create up to 2 video ads or 20 image ads, access 300 AI actors, and use 10 premium AI models plus 40 ad templates. Exports include a watermark." Creatify advertises up to 50% off on annual billing. MakeUGC splits its pricing into a Platform tab and an API tab. On Platform, Startup is $59 a month against an $89 list price for 500 credits, 1,000+ realistic AI creators, 50+ languages and access to selected models; Growth is $79 against $119 for 1,000 credits with batch mode and access to all AI models; Pro is $149 for a slider of 2,000, 3,000 or 5,000 credits, adding product-in-hand videos, a video agent and PDF to video, and it is offered with a $1 first month that renews at $149. Enterprise is custom. All platform tiers list parallel generation of up to 10 videos and 10 images, exports in HD, 2K and 4K, and unlimited AI scripts. On the API tab, API Starter is $99 against $149 for 2,000 credits and 500+ AI creators, API Pro is $299 against $449 for 6,000 credits with five times the concurrency, and Enterprise is custom with a white-label license. AdsGen publishes its plans, starting at $82 a month.

In depth
Where each tool actually wins
The entry tiers run in opposite directions
Put the two starting plans next to each other and the arithmetic looks decisive. Creatify Starter is $39 a month for 100 credits and 300 AI actors. MakeUGC Startup is $59 a month for 500 credits and 1,000+ AI creators. MakeUGC costs about 51% more and hands you five times the credits and more than three times the cast.
The reason that is not the end of the argument is that a credit is not a shared unit. Each vendor defines its own, and 500 of one is not comparable to 100 of the other in any direct way. What matters is how many finished ads each plan produces, and only one of the two gives you enough to work that out.
Creatify publishes an anchor, though it hides it in the pricing FAQ rather than on the plan cards: its free plan's 10 credits make up to 2 video ads. Take that at face value and a video ad costs roughly 5 credits, which puts Starter near 20 video ads a month. MakeUGC publishes no equivalent statement anywhere on its pricing page, so its 500 credits could be 20 ads or 100 and you cannot tell from the outside. That asymmetry is the single most useful thing to know before you pick, and it points the opposite way to the headline numbers.
Both Pro tiers are sliders, and both publish only the floor
This is the finding that survives on both sides, and it changes how you should read any review of either product.
MakeUGC Pro is presented at $149 a month, and directly beneath the price sits a selector offering 2,000, 3,000 or 5,000 credits. So $149 buys the 2,000-credit rung, and the 5,000-credit rung costs more than that, by an amount the page does not state until you move the slider. The card also carries a $1 first-month offer with "Renews at $149" printed on it, which is honest of them, but it means the number you are charged in month one is not the number you are budgeting for.
Creatify Pro is the same structure taken further. Its compare table lists Pro monthly credits as "200-5000", clearly a slider, and the Pro price card does not server-render at all. We have now checked that page on three separate occasions across August 2026 and the Pro price has never appeared in the delivered HTML, because it sits behind the credit selector. So we can tell you exactly what Pro includes, and we will not quote you a Pro price, because we have not been able to read one.
The practical advice is the same for both: when you see a Pro price written anywhere, including in a comparison table, treat it as the bottom rung of a range rather than the price of the plan.
The seat limit almost nobody checks
Creatify's compare table lists Seats as 1 on Starter and 1 on Pro. Not five, not three. One, on both published paid plans. Brand Spaces is also 1 on both. To get a second person into the account you go to Enterprise, which is quoted on request.
That is worth knowing before it becomes a surprise, because the plans are otherwise priced like team software. An agency running creative for six clients on Pro is buying a single login, and a two-person growth team needs two subscriptions or a sales conversation.
MakeUGC does not publish seat counts on its platform plans at all, which is a different problem rather than a better answer. Its Enterprise tier is the one that talks about collaboration explicitly, listing a dedicated Slack channel, a creative strategist and one-on-one strategy calls. If more than one person needs access, ask both vendors directly and get the answer in writing before you commit to an annual term.
What MakeUGC means by unlimited
MakeUGC leads with an unlimited offer that is genuinely unusual in this category: unlimited generation on named models, currently Seedance 2.5 across the platform tiers, plus a 365-day unlimited promotion on Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro, with the output resolution rising by tier so Pro gets 4K on all three.
Its own FAQ then explains the mechanism plainly, and this is the sentence to read twice: "Unlimited runs in the standard queue; credits always use the priority queue." Unlimited is real, and it is deliberately slower. You are not getting free capacity, you are getting deprioritized capacity, which is a reasonable trade and a completely different thing from what the word implies at a glance. The FAQ adds that speed and concurrency may vary during peak hours, and that unlimited does not activate during the $1 trial, only after your first full billing cycle begins.
Creatify has no unlimited concept at all. Everything draws on credits, at one speed. Neither approach is wrong, but if you are choosing MakeUGC because unlimited solves a volume problem, plan around a slower lane rather than a bigger one.
Where each one genuinely wins
MakeUGC wins on cast and on raw generation volume. 1,000+ AI creators on the cheapest paid plan is a bigger library than Creatify offers below its Pro tier, and 500 credits is a lot of runway for a solo operator testing angles. Its API plans are also the more serious of the two propositions if you want to wire generation into your own systems, starting at $99 a month for 2,000 credits and scaling to $299 for 6,000 with five times the concurrency.
Creatify wins on everything that happens after the video exists. The ad launcher pushes creative straight into Meta, TikTok and AppLovin, the competitor ad tracker covers up to 10 brands, and ad insights close the loop. If the job is not just making creative but running it, that consolidation is the argument, and MakeUGC has no equivalent. Creatify also wins on transparency in the one place it counts most, by publishing a credits-to-ads conversion at all.
On price, honestly, it depends what you are counting. Creatify is cheaper to start and easier to forecast. MakeUGC gives you more raw units for the money and a $1 way to test the output properly before committing, which is the cheapest genuine evaluation either vendor offers, given Creatify's free tier watermarks everything it makes.
Which should you choose?
Choose Creatify if the ads have to get launched and measured, not just made, or if you need to forecast a cost per ad before you sign. Choose MakeUGC if creator realism and volume are the constraint, if you want API access on a published price, or if you want to judge real output for a dollar rather than through a watermark. Both are competent products from teams that clearly understand paid social, and either is a defensible pick.
The case for neither is narrower and worth naming. Both tools solve production. Neither solves the part that actually stalls most creative testing, which is deciding what the ad should say. A thousand AI creators and five thousand credits do not help if you are still looking at an empty script field on a Tuesday afternoon, and script-generation features on both sides tend to produce competent copy rather than a real angle.
That is the gap AdsGen was built for. Paste a product URL and it picks the angle, writes the spoken hook, casts a creator who reads as a real person filming on a phone, and returns native vertical ads with the captions already burned in. It is a narrower product than either of these by design, with no ad launcher and no model marketplace, in exchange for ads you can upload the same afternoon.
Why teams pick AdsGen
The full UGC video ad, end to end
The angle, written for you
A bigger actor library and a bigger credit pool do not decide what your ad should say. AdsGen picks the angle from your product page and writes the hook, so each ad tests a real idea rather than a rendered script.
No credits to convert
Both of these price in credits you have to translate into finished work before you can compare them, and only one of them publishes the exchange rate. AdsGen plans are counted in ads.
A batch, not a video
Creative testing runs on volume. AdsGen returns several distinct angles and creators per product in one pass, so you launch a real test instead of one hero video.
