Creatify vs Zeely vs AdsGen: AI UGC ad tools compared

The short answer

Creatify and Zeely do the same headline trick: paste a product URL and get ad creative back. They are sold to different people at very different real prices. Creatify is web software for performance marketers and agencies, metered in credits, published at $39 a month Starter, with a Pro tier whose price card does not reliably render (last seen around $99 a month). Zeely is a mobile-first app aimed at small online sellers, and its pricing page advertises 2-week, 4-week and 8-week blocks at $19.95, $29.95 and $49.95. The number that decides your budget is in Zeely's own fine print: those are first-subscription discounts, and after that the plan renews at $79.95 a month. Priced on what you actually pay in month three, Zeely sits between Creatify Starter and Creatify Pro rather than far below both.

Creatify and Zeely land on the same shortlist for a good reason. Both take a product URL, pull the details off the page, and hand back ad creative without a camera or an editor. If that is the job you are hiring for, they look interchangeable on a feature list.

They stop looking interchangeable the moment you read the billing terms and work out who each product was designed for. One is web software sold to people who live in Ads Manager. The other is an app sold to people who have never opened Ads Manager and would rather not. This page compares them on what changes a purchase decision: what you actually pay after the first cycle, what each tool produces, and where each one genuinely wins. AdsGen is our product, so it sits in a third column instead of hiding at the bottom, and the rows where the other two beat us are still in the table.

What each one costs

Both price lists below were read off each vendor's own pricing page in August 2026. Creatify publishes three plan cards and describes a fourth tier in its FAQ: Free at $0 for 10 credits a month, which its FAQ says makes up to 2 video ads or 20 image ads, with 300 AI actors, 10 premium models, 40 ad templates and a watermark on exports; Starter at $39 a month for 100 credits, 300 actors, 200+ ad templates, 50+ premium models, 75+ languages, watermark removal, 5GB of asset storage and video up to 2 minutes; Pro at $99 a month for 300 credits, scalable to 500, 1,000, 2,000 or 5,000, with 1,500 actors plus 3 custom avatars, 500+ ad templates, 100+ premium models, the Creative Agent, the Creatify MCP connector for Claude and ChatGPT, an AI Media Buyer for Meta, Google, TikTok and AppLovin, a competitor ad tracker covering up to 10 brands, 10GB of storage, video up to 10 minutes and up to 5 seats; Enterprise is custom, adding the done-for-you Creatify Studio, white-label, API volume discounts and a dedicated account manager. Annual billing is advertised at up to 50% off. Zeely publishes two columns, Free and Growth, and sells Growth in term blocks rather than months: a 2-week plan at $19.95, listed against $42.00; a 4-week plan at $29.95, listed against $83.00 and flagged most popular; and an 8-week plan at $49.95, listed against $167.00. The page headline reads up to 70% off. Under the plan picker, Zeely states plainly that the discount applies to your first subscription and that it then renews at the full price of $79.95 per month. Growth carries 10,000 credits plus marketing video ads, edit-ready templates, paid campaigns, viral campaigns, talking reels, prompt to ad, brand-inspired remix, batch static ads, avatar customization, an AI image enhancer, early feature access and priority support. AdsGen publishes its plans, starting at $82 a month.

In depth

Where each tool actually wins

The Zeely price you see is not the price you pay

This is the single most useful thing on the page, and it comes straight from Zeely rather than from us. The pricing page shows three Growth options: $19.95 for two weeks, $29.95 for four weeks, $49.95 for eight weeks, each struck through against a higher list price under a banner promising up to 70% off. Directly beneath the plan picker, in a block headed Subscription details, Zeely writes that the discount was added to your first subscription automatically and that after that your subscription renews at the full price of $79.95 per month.

So the $29.95 most popular plan is a $29.95 introduction to a $79.95 a month product. Nothing about that is hidden, and Zeely deserves some credit for stating it on the pricing page instead of burying it in the terms. But it changes the comparison completely. A buyer who reads only the plan cards concludes Zeely is roughly a third the price of Creatify Pro. A buyer who reads the next paragraph learns that from month two onward Zeely costs more than twice Creatify Starter and only slightly less than Creatify Pro, while Creatify never changes the number it quoted you.

The strike-through list prices actually confirm this rather than contradict it. Zeely lists the 4-week block at $83.00 and the 8-week block at $167.00. Those work out to about $83 per four weeks, which lines up with a $79.95 monthly rate. The list prices are the real prices. The headline figures are the discount.

Weeks are not months, and that costs you an extra cycle

The second billing detail is quieter and worth about a month of fees a year. Zeely sells 2-week, 4-week and 8-week blocks. Almost everyone reads a 4-week plan as a monthly plan. It is not one.

A calendar year holds twelve months but slightly more than thirteen four-week periods. A plan that renews every four weeks therefore bills you thirteen times a year, not twelve. At a $79.95 rate that is roughly $1,039 a year against the $959 you would pay for the same rate charged monthly, a difference of about eighty dollars for a product you thought you were buying at the same price. Fitness and habit apps have priced this way for years, which is a fair clue about where Zeely's pricing model came from.

None of this makes Zeely a bad product. It makes Zeely a product you should price on an annual basis before you subscribe, not on the number printed largest on the plan card. Creatify, whatever else you think of it, quotes a monthly figure that is still the monthly figure in month twelve.

Zeely's free tier is a door, not a trial

Both vendors advertise something free, and the two free tiers are not remotely comparable.

Creatify's free plan is small but real. Its pricing FAQ puts it at 10 credits a month, which it says produces up to 2 video ads or 20 image ads, with access to 300 AI actors, 10 premium models and 40 ad templates. Exports carry a watermark. Two watermarked ads a month will not run a business, but they are enough to judge whether the output is any good before you spend anything.

Zeely's free column is different. Its pricing table lists thirteen capabilities down the side, including the 10,000 credits, marketing video ads, edit-ready templates, paid campaigns, talking reels, batch static ads and avatar customization, and the Free column carries a dash rather than a check on every single one. By Zeely's own table, the free tier includes none of the features the table exists to describe. Treat it as an account you can create, not as an evaluation you can run. If you want to see Zeely's output before paying, budget the $19.95 two-week block and set a calendar reminder before it renews.

They are not actually sold to the same person

Strip out the pricing and a real product difference remains. Creatify's feature list reads like it was written for someone with an ad account already open: an AI Media Buyer wired into Meta, Google, TikTok and AppLovin, a competitor ad tracker sitting on a library of Meta ads, brand spaces, seats, an API, volume discounts, and as of 2026 an MCP connector so Claude and ChatGPT can drive it directly. Those features only make sense to a person who runs campaigns for a living or for clients.

Zeely's list reads like it was written for someone who does not. The workflow it advertises is five steps that end with the app launching and optimizing campaigns on your behalf, the marketing talks about sellers rather than marketers, and the whole thing lives on your phone with billing handled through the app store. Zeely says 650,000 sellers use it and reports a 184% average lift in ad performance; those are the company's own figures and we have no way to audit them, so weigh them as marketing claims rather than as benchmarks.

If you already know what a CPA target is, Creatify will feel like a tool and Zeely will feel like it is deciding things for you. If you do not, the reverse is true, and the hand-holding is the reason to pay.

Which should you choose?

Choose Creatify if advertising is part of your job. The pricing is honest and stable, the actor library is the deepest of the three, the competitor tracker and media buyer are genuinely useful, and the agency features exist. At $99 a month for 300 credits, which on Creatify's own free-plan arithmetic of about 5 credits per video ad works out near 60 ads, it is inexpensive per asset for anyone testing creative seriously.

Choose Zeely if you sell products yourself, do not want to learn Ads Manager, and value having something run the campaign for you. It does static ads as well as video, which Creatify also does and we deliberately do not. Just do the arithmetic at $79.95 a month across thirteen billing cycles before you sign up, and decide whether you would still buy it at that number.

Choose neither if your bottleneck is not rendering but deciding what the ad should say. Creatify hands you 500 templates, Zeely hands you a launch button, and both still leave you staring at an empty script. That is the gap AdsGen fills. Paste a product URL and it picks the angle, writes the spoken hook, casts a creator who reads as a real person filming on a phone, and returns native 9:16 ads with captions burned in. It is a narrower product than either of these, and the trade is that you get ads you can upload the same afternoon.

Why teams pick AdsGen

The full UGC video ad, end to end

The angle, written for you

Templates and launch buttons do not decide what your ad should say. AdsGen picks the angle and writes the hook from your product page, so each ad tests a real idea like problem-solution, testimonial, or "I was skeptical".

One price, every month

Published plans that mean the same thing in month one and month twelve. No introductory rate that resets, no four-week cycle that quietly bills you a thirteenth time a year.

Priced in finished ads

Plans are counted in ads rather than a credit pool you have to convert before you can tell what a month actually buys.

Good questions

Creatify vs Zeely vs AdsGen, answered

For anyone who runs ads professionally, Creatify. It has transparent monthly pricing, 1,500 AI actors on Pro, a competitor ad tracker and agency seats. Zeely is the better fit for a solo seller who wants the app to launch and manage campaigns for them and does not want to learn Ads Manager.
Zeely is cheaper for the first cycle only. Its 4-week plan is $19.95 to $29.95 up front, but Zeely states that the plan renews at $79.95 a month. From month two, Zeely costs more than twice Creatify Starter at $39 and roughly in line with Creatify Pro, last published around $99 though its price card does not reliably render.
Zeely advertises $19.95 for two weeks, $29.95 for four weeks and $49.95 for eight weeks. Those are first-subscription discounts. Zeely's own subscription note on the pricing page says the plan then renews at the full price of $79.95 per month. Budget on $79.95, not on the headline.
There is a free account, but Zeely's own plan table lists thirteen features and marks every one of them as not included on Free, including credits, video ads, templates and campaigns. The free tier lets you create an account rather than evaluate the product. The cheapest way to actually test it is the $19.95 two-week block.
Yes, it is a real product from a real company, with a published pricing page, a support address and a large claimed user base. The thing to check before subscribing is not legitimacy but billing: the advertised price is an introductory rate, renewal is $79.95 a month, and plans run in week blocks rather than calendar months.
No, and the difference is about one extra payment a year. A calendar year contains twelve months but slightly more than thirteen four-week periods, so a plan billed every four weeks charges you thirteen times a year. At $79.95 that is roughly $1,039 a year rather than $959.
Both generate copy from your product URL, and both leave the creative decision to you: Creatify through ad templates, Zeely through prompt-to-ad. Neither picks a tested ad angle on your behalf. AdsGen does, choosing the angle and writing the spoken hook before it casts a creator and renders the ad.
