Predis AI alternative and Predis alternatives that turn a product URL into UGC video ads

The short answer

The best Predis AI alternative depends on what you bought Predis for. If you need social posts, carousels, scheduling and competitor runs across several brands, Predis is good value and well reviewed, and you should probably stay. If you bought it to make UGC video ads, the meter works against you: Predis charges 200 credits per 8 seconds of UGC video, so one 30-second ad uses 800 credits, about $13.75 on annual Rise and $19.75 on monthly Rise, before the retries every ad needs. AdsGen is the narrower alternative: paste a product URL and get a batch of finished 9:16 UGC ads with hooks and captions, on plans from $49 a month that are not counted in credits.

Most people searching for a Predis alternative are in one of two places. Some like Predis as a content calendar and want the same thing cheaper, or with a longer trial than the current three days. Others signed up because Predis now sells itself as the tool that "makes ads that your brand needs", tried the UGC ad maker, and watched a single 30-second video eat most of a month of credits.

This page is mostly for the second group, and it is straight with the first. AdsGen is our product. It does one thing Predis also does, turning a product link into a UGC-style video ad with an AI presenter, and it does not do the many things Predis does around it, such as scheduling, static posts and carousels. Every Predis figure below comes from its own pricing page, credit table and terms, read on 2 October 2026, and our full Predis AI review, linked further down, shows the working.

What each one costs

We read the Predis pricing page again on 2 October 2026 and the numbers match our 25 September check. Core is $32 a month or $24 billed yearly ($288 a year) for 1,300 credits a month, Rise is $79 or $55 yearly ($664) for 3,200, and Enterprise+ is $249 or $212 yearly ($2,540) for 10,000. The toggle says 30 percent off yearly, but the cards show 25 percent on Core, 30 on Rise and 15 on Enterprise+. Extra credits are $29 a month for 1,200. Every plan starts with a 3-day trial that needs a card and charges when day 3 ends, payments after that are non-refundable, and unused credits expire each billing cycle. AdsGen starts at $49 a month billed yearly and is not metered in credits.

Pricing and features are taken from each product's own site and change often, so check the latest before you buy.

In depth

Where each tool actually wins

What a Predis UGC video ad really costs

Predis prices everything in credits, and the credit table on its pricing page is short. Images, ad creatives and each carousel slide cost 15 credits. Faceless video costs 5 credits per 10 seconds. Standard and UGC video, the kind with an AI creator talking about your product, costs 200 credits per 8 seconds. Video is billed in 8-second blocks, so a 30-second ad rounds up to four blocks, or 800 credits.

Put that unit against each plan and the ladder looks very different from the cards. Core has 1,300 credits a month, which is one 30-second ad with 500 credits left that cannot buy a second. Rise has 3,200, which is four. Enterprise+ has 10,000, which is twelve. On annual billing that works out to about $14.77 an ad on Core, $13.75 on Rise and $16.96 on Enterprise+, and on monthly billing all three land near $19.70 to $19.92. Nobody ships the first render of an ad, so multiply by the three to five attempts a usable one takes. Our Predis AI pricing breakdown has the plan-by-plan working.

Why the plan cards promise more videos than the credits buy

Each Predis plan card carries an estimate: about 33 videos on Core, 80 on Rise and 250 on Enterprise+. Divide the credits by those counts and the cards assume roughly 40 credits a video. The credit table on the same page charges 200 credits for every 8 seconds of UGC video, so at the published rate Core buys about 6 eight-second clips, Rise about 16 and Enterprise+ about 50. That is roughly five times fewer than the cards suggest, and far fewer again once a clip is long enough to be an ad.

The cards are not lying about everything. Faceless stock-footage video costs only 5 credits per 10 seconds, and if that is what you make, Predis really is cheap. The gap opens only when you need a person on camera, which is the format most paid social teams are buying a UGC tool for. When you compare Predis with any alternative, ignore the video count on the card and divide the credit figure by 200 for every 8 seconds of presenter video you plan to make.

The three clauses that push ad teams to look elsewhere

The first is the trial. Predis takes a card to start a 3-day trial and charges it when day 3 ends, and every payment after that is non-refundable, with no refunds for partial or unused months. Three days is not long to judge whether AI presenters work for your product, especially if your ad account needs a few days of spend before results mean anything.

The second is cancellation. Predis terms say you cancel through the in-app Cancel Subscription option and that email, chat or phone requests will not be considered, which explains most of the one-star reviews about charges after cancelling. The third matters most to agencies: we found no clause in the terms on who owns generated output, no explicit commercial-use grant for it and nothing on the likeness of the AI creators. If you make ads for clients, get that answered in writing before a client relies on the files. Our Predis AI review quotes each clause.

Where Predis is the better buy, and you should stay

If video ads are one job among many, Predis is a sensible tool and we would not move you. It writes posts, carousels and captions, schedules them across many social channels, runs competitor analysis on other brands' social pages and supports several brands on Rise and above. Its reviews are healthy for this category: 4.4 on Trustpilot from 262 reviews when we checked in September, 82 percent of them five-star, and 4.7 on Capterra.

Faceless video is also a real strength. At 5 credits per 10 seconds, 30 seconds of stock-footage video costs about 26 cents on annual Rise, cheaper than anything an AI presenter can produce. An agency running organic social for small clients, with a product video now and then, will get more from Predis Rise than from any tool built only for paid ads.

Where AdsGen is the better buy

Buy AdsGen if the job is paid social creative and the bottleneck is volume. You paste a product URL, we read the page, write the hooks and angles, cast the presenters and return a batch of finished vertical ads with captions burned in, up to 20 variations across 6 angles per product. The plan is counted in ads, not credits, so the retries a test round needs do not drain a balance and the cost of next month is the same as this month. See our AdsGen plans and pricing for the tiers.

Our limits are real and you should know them before you switch. Output is 9:16 only, with no square or landscape and no editor. We do not schedule posts, make static images or carousels, or run competitor analysis, so if you need all of social in one place, Predis does more than we do. A thin product page gives the model less to work with. And the presenters are generated, so they are not testimonials and should never be presented as customers.

Other Predis alternatives worth a look

If you want an ad-first tool with a large avatar library and a published per-second meter, Creatify is the obvious comparison: its help centre charges 5 credits per 15 seconds, so a 30-second ad is about $3.90 on the $39 Starter plan. Our Creatify alternative page covers where it fits. If you also need static ad creatives at volume, AdCreative is closer to what Predis does for images; see AdCreative AI alternative. MakeUGC prices per video at 100 credits each, from $11.80 an ad on monthly Start up down to about $2.58 on annual Pro, covered in our MakeUGC alternative page.

Our honest shortlist for an ad team leaving Predis is three columns: stay on Predis if social posting is the main job, pick an avatar tool with a per-second meter if you write every script yourself, and pick AdsGen if you want the concept written for you and a batch of ads back from a single link.

Why teams pick AdsGen

The full UGC video ad, end to end

A batch of ads, not a credit budget

Predis spends 800 credits on one 30-second UGC ad. AdsGen returns a batch of finished ads from one product URL, with different hooks and angles already written, so a test round is not rationed by a balance.

A plan you can quote a client

No credit table, no 8-second billing blocks and no add-on packs at $29 for 1,200 credits. You pay a plan price and generate ads, which makes the monthly number easy to put in a proposal.

Built only for paid social

Native 9:16 with burned-in captions and presenters that read like creators filming on a phone. It does less than Predis on purpose, and the files are ready to upload to Meta, TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

Good questions

Predis AI vs AdsGen, answered

For paid social video ads, a tool built only for UGC-style ads is usually cheaper per finished ad than Predis credits. AdsGen turns a product URL into a batch of 9:16 ads with hooks and captions from $49 a month. Creatify and MakeUGC are strong alternatives if you prefer a per-second or per-video meter.
Predis AI is worth it for teams that need social posts, scheduling and faceless video across several brands, especially on annual Rise at $55 a month. As a UGC ad tool it is expensive: a 30-second ad uses 800 of Rise's 3,200 monthly credits, about $13.75 on annual billing and $19.75 monthly.
A standard or UGC video costs 200 credits per 8 seconds, billed in 8-second blocks, so a 30-second ad uses 800 credits. That is about $14.77 on annual Core, $13.75 on annual Rise and $16.96 on annual Enterprise+, or close to $19.70 to $19.92 on monthly billing, read on 2 October 2026.
For UGC video ads, yes. Creatify charges about $3.90 for a 30-second ad on its $39 Starter plan, MakeUGC runs from $2.58 to $11.80 a video, and AdsGen plans start at $49 a month without a credit meter. For faceless stock-footage video, Predis itself is among the cheapest options at 5 credits per 10 seconds.
Yes, 3 days. Predis takes a card to start the trial and charges it when day 3 ends unless you cancel in the app. It used to be 7 days. Payments after the trial are non-refundable, so decide inside those three days and set a reminder for day 2.
No. Predis says payments after the trial are non-refundable and that cancelling only stops future charges. There are no refunds for partial or unused months, and unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle, including on yearly plans, where credits arrive monthly.
Use the Cancel Subscription option inside the Predis app. Its terms say email, chat or phone requests to cancel will not be considered, so an email does not stop the next charge. Cancelling stops future billing but does not refund the current period.
Yes if you mainly make paid social video ads. AdsGen turns a product URL into ready-to-run 9:16 UGC ads with the angle and hook written for you. It is not a replacement for Predis if you also need scheduling, static posts, carousels, competitor analysis or landscape video, which we do not offer.
