AdCreative AI review: AdCreative AI reviews, pricing and is it worth it for video ads

The short answer

AdCreative.ai is an AI ad generator that makes image ads, banners, product videos and, since 2025, UGC-style avatar videos from your brand assets. In September 2026 it sells three credit ladders: Starter from $39 a month for 10 credits, Professional from $249 for 50 and Ultimate from $999 for 100, cut to $20, $125 and $500 a month billed yearly. A credit is spent when you download a static ad. A UGC video costs 2 credits at 720p and 4 or 6 at 1080p, which is $8 to $24 on monthly Professional 100 and $4 to $12 billed yearly. It holds 3.4 on Trustpilot from 4,551 reviews, 55 percent five-star and 33 percent one-star. Refunds only apply if you never used the service. It is worth it for teams that need hundreds of static variations a month; it is expensive for UGC video.

People searching for an AdCreative AI review have usually seen the pitch: connect your brand, get hundreds of ad creatives with a predicted conversion score, push them to Meta and Google. For static ads, that pitch mostly holds up. What a buyer needs before entering a card is different: which rung of which ladder to buy, what a video ad really costs in credits, what happens when the 7-day trial ends, and whether the terms let you use the output the way an agency needs to.

This review answers those questions with numbers read off the AdCreative.ai homepage pricing section, its help centre, the credit costs its own web app uses, both sets of terms (online subscribers and enterprise), its refund page, Trustpilot, Capterra and Product Hunt on 27 September 2026.

One note on what we are: AdsGen makes UGC-style video ads from a product URL, so we compete with AdCreative.ai on video and not at all on static banners. Every figure below can be checked, and the section on where AdCreative.ai wins is written to be used.

Our verdict

3.0/5

Worth it for high-volume static banners on an annual plan. Poor value for UGC video, and read the trial terms before you enter a card.

AdCreative.ai generates large batches of image ads and banners from your brand kit fast, with creative scoring and ad account integrations that save real design hours. Video is a newer add-on: a UGC clip costs 2, 4 or 6 credits by quality tier, which is $8 to $24 on the monthly Professional 100 rung. The trial needs a card and turns into the plan you picked, a third of its 4,551 Trustpilot reviews are one-star, mostly about trial charges and slow refunds, and the self-serve terms never say you own what you generate.

How AdCreative.ai scores, category by category

Static ad and banner output

4.1

The core product works: many on-brand image variations in every size, generated free and charged only when you download one. This is where the praise in the reviews comes from.

Video and UGC ads

2.8

UGC video is Talking Head only in the help docs, renders at 9:16, clip length is not published or selectable, and each render or new variant is charged again.

Value for money

2.9

Fine for static ads billed yearly at $2 a credit. For video, a 1080p UGC render costs $16 on monthly Professional 100 and $40 on monthly Ultimate 100.

Pricing clarity

2.5

No pricing page (it returns 404), three ladders behind three billing tabs, "6 months free" printed on quarterly cards that save three, and brand limits that differ by card.

Billing and refunds

1.9

Card required for the trial, which converts to the plan you picked. Refunds only if you never used the service. The one-star reviews are overwhelmingly about this.

Rights for client work

2.4

The self-serve terms limit use to internal business purposes and contain no clause giving you ownership of outputs. The enterprise terms do. That gap matters to agencies.

In depth

The AdCreative.ai review in full

Is AdCreative AI worth it? For static ads in volume, yes. For video, rarely

AdCreative.ai is worth paying for if your bottleneck is static creative: a paid social or display team that needs dozens of on-brand banners in every size each week, with a score to help decide which to test first. Generation is unlimited and a credit is only spent when you download a finished static ad, so on the Professional 100 rung billed yearly each ad you keep costs $2. That is cheaper than any designer, and the ad account integrations for Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Pinterest remove the export step.

Video changes the maths. A UGC video is not a download of something already generated. The Professional and Master tiers charge 4 or 6 credits every time you render, and every new variant charges again. On monthly Professional 100, that is $16 or $24 per render, before you know whether the clip is usable. On Ultimate, where a credit costs $9.99 on the entry rung, a Master render is about $60.

So buy AdCreative.ai for static volume on a yearly plan, and price any video work off the render cost, not the headline price. For a full breakdown of every rung and billing tab, see our AdCreative.ai pricing guide.

What a UGC video ad really costs on AdCreative.ai

AdCreative.ai does not print credit costs for video anywhere a buyer would look. The pricing section says a credit is used when you download a generated ad creative, and the terms say generating or downloading may consume one credit or some credits. The actual numbers live in the web app: a UGC video costs 2 credits at the Essential tier (720p, charged when you download it), 4 at Professional (1080p, charged per generation) and 6 at Master (1080p, charged per generation).

Two things make that harder to budget than it looks. The first is length. The current app does not let you choose a UGC clip length and AdCreative.ai does not publish one, so a 30-second ad may take more than one clip. The second is retries. Nobody keeps every render: a presenter that reads flat, a hook that does not land. If one render in three is a keeper, a usable 1080p UGC ad on monthly Professional 100 costs about $48, and on the 10-credit trial you can afford two Professional renders in total.

The help centre also describes Talking Head as the only UGC style available, with Show and Tell and Try On marked as coming. Plan for talking-head clips only.

Three ladders, three tabs, and badges that do not add up

The advertised $39, $249 and $999 are not plans. Each is the cheapest rung of a credit ladder, and the ladders behave oddly. The Starter 15-credit rung costs $5.93 a credit, more than the 10-credit rung at $3.90. Ultimate 100 costs $999 for the same 100 credits Professional sells for $400. What Ultimate adds is seats and brands, not credits: 20 users against 10.

The billing tabs make it harder. The yearly "50% off" badge is true, within about a point. The quarterly cards say "6 months free", which cannot be right for a plan that saves about 25 percent, roughly three months a year. Several "Save $" figures are a few dollars off the arithmetic. The brand limit on Professional reads 3 in one summary line and 10 on the rung itself. A "Father's Day prep sale" banner was still running in late September.

None of this is hidden, but it rewards reading slowly. Check the billing tab you are on, the rung you are on and the checkout total before you pay, because the yearly price is one charge for twelve months.

The 7-day trial and why a third of the reviews are one-star

The trial gives 7 days and 10 credits with the same access as the Professional plan. It needs a card at sign-up. When it ends, the plan and billing period you selected at sign-up activates, so a trial started from a yearly tab can become a yearly charge. The homepage promises a reminder before the trial ends.

That mechanism explains most of the Trustpilot profile. AdCreative.ai holds 3.4 from 4,551 reviews, 55 percent five-star and 33 percent one-star, and the recent one-star reviews read alike: a charge of several hundred dollars after a trial the reviewer thought they had cancelled or never used, a refund approved and still unpaid weeks later, or a charge landing after cancellation. Many of the recent five-star reviews thank a named support agent for fixing a billing problem.

Cancelling is not two clicks, whatever the homepage says. The help centre path is Settings, Account, Cancel My Subscription, a reason form, typing CONFIRM, then Proceed with Cancellation, and the plan ends at the close of the billing period. If you trial it, cancel on day one and use the remaining days; you keep access either way.

Refunds: only if you never used it

The terms say subscribers have no right of withdrawal after subscribing and that refunds are at AdCreative.ai's discretion for customers who subscribed but did not use the service. The request must arrive within 7 days of the charge for a monthly plan or 30 days for an annual one. Another clause adds that there are no refunds for lack of usage or partial usage.

In practice that means generating a single ad during the trial can end your refund right, which is the same trap we found at Higgsfield and InVideo: a refund policy with a usage condition is close to no refund policy for anyone who evaluated the product properly. The refund page says approved refunds take around two to three weeks to arrive, and several September reviews describe waiting longer.

Credits do not roll over. They expire at the end of each billing cycle, so a slow month is money gone. Invoices are only available inside the app, not by email, which matters to any finance team reconciling a card.

Who owns the ads: the clause agencies should read first

This is the finding most AdCreative.ai reviews miss. The terms for online subscribers, which cover every self-serve plan, grant a licence to use the service solely for your internal business purposes and state that everything provided through the service, graphics and animation included, remains AdCreative.ai's property. They contain no clause saying you own the ads you generate. The enterprise terms add exactly that sentence: projects generated from the client's content will be owned by the client.

Nobody is suggesting AdCreative.ai will stop you running your ads. But if you are an agency delivering creative to a client whose contract asks you to warrant ownership, the self-serve terms do not give you that, and the enterprise tier sells "Complete Asset IP Rights" as a feature. Price the enterprise plan if that warranty matters.

Two other clauses are worth knowing. Your uploads carry a transferable, sublicensable licence to AdCreative.ai as needed to run the service, and your ad data may be used to train its AI. And by signing up you let AdCreative.ai use your trademark and logo in its own marketing without reviewing it first. Disputes go to arbitration in Singapore; the contracting company is ADYOUNEED SAS in Paris, part of the Appier group.

Where AdCreative.ai beats us outright, and you should buy it instead

If you need static image ads and display banners, buy AdCreative.ai. We do not make them at all, and it makes them quickly in every size your ad accounts want.

If you want a predicted performance score on each creative before you spend, AdCreative.ai has creative scoring on Professional and Ultimate, and we have nothing like it.

If you want to push creative straight into Meta, Google, LinkedIn or Pinterest from the tool, its integrations do that, and with us you upload files yourself.

If your team works across many brands with ten or twenty seats, the Professional and Ultimate ladders are built for that, and on a yearly plan the per-credit price for static work is low.

Where the comparison turns is video. If the ads you most need are UGC-style videos with a person talking to camera about your product, AdCreative.ai charges per render in a studio that documents one style, and the cost of a usable clip is hard to know until you have made several. That is the job AdsGen is built for. For how it stacks up against a dedicated video tool, see AdCreative.ai vs Creatify.

What AdsGen does instead, including what it will not do

You paste a product URL. We read the page for the product, its claims and its images, write UGC-style scripts with several different hooks and angles, and return finished vertical video ads with AI presenters and burned-in captions, ready to upload to TikTok, Meta or Shorts. There is no credit meter and no per-render charge, and you see the output on your own product in the demo before paying.

The limits, stated before you sign up. Output is 9:16 only, with captions burned in, so it suits paid social and not landscape pre-roll or display. We make no static banners and no creative scores. It works from a product URL, so a thin or image-only product page gives the model less to work with. The presenters are generated, so they are not customers and must never be presented as testimonials. We have no public API and do not push ads into your ad accounts.

Many teams will reasonably run both: AdCreative.ai for static and display, a UGC video tool for Reels, TikTok and Shorts. Our AdCreative.ai alternative page lays out that split.

Why teams pick AdsGen

The full UGC video ad, end to end

A plan counted in ads, not renders

AdCreative.ai charges 2 to 6 credits for every UGC render and again for every variant. AdsGen plans are counted in finished ads, so you know the price of the twelfth variation before you make it.

Several angles per product in one batch

AdsGen reads your product page and writes different hooks and angles together, because the first idea is rarely the winner and paid social is a search for the one that works.

Try it without a card

The demo runs the real engine on a product URL you paste. No trial that turns into a charge, and nothing prepaid that expires at the end of the month.

Good questions

AdCreative.ai, answered

For static image ads and banners in volume, yes, especially billed yearly, where a downloaded static ad costs about $2 on Professional 100. For UGC video it is expensive: 4 to 6 credits per 1080p render, $16 to $24 on monthly Professional 100, charged again for every variant. Read the trial terms before entering a card.
Yes. It is a real product run by ADYOUNEED SAS in Paris, part of the Appier group, with published plans and terms. It holds 3.4 on Trustpilot from 4,551 reviews. The 33 percent one-star share is mostly about trial charges, refunds and cancellation, not about a product that does not work.
No, but its billing catches people out. The 7-day trial needs a card and converts to the plan and billing period you selected, which can be a yearly charge of several hundred dollars. Refunds only apply if you did not use the service. Cancel early in the trial if you are unsure; access continues to the end of the period.
Read on 27 September 2026: Starter from $39 a month for 10 credits, Professional from $249 for 50 and Ultimate from $999 for 100, each on a ladder of larger rungs up to $189, $400 and $1,399. Billed yearly the entry rungs are $20, $125 and $500 a month. Enterprise is custom and there is no free plan.
A UGC video costs 2 credits at the Essential 720p tier, charged on download, and 4 or 6 credits at the Professional and Master 1080p tiers, charged per render. Each new variant costs the same again. Product and fashion videos use 4 or 6 at 1080p. These rates come from the web app; they are not printed on the pricing page.
In the app go to Settings, then Account, then Cancel My Subscription, fill in the reason form, type CONFIRM and click Proceed with Cancellation. The plan stays active until the end of the billing period. For a trial, cancel before day 7 or the plan you selected at sign-up activates and charges your card.
Only in narrow cases. The terms allow refunds at the company's discretion for customers who subscribed but did not use the service, requested within 7 days of a monthly charge or 30 days of an annual one. Partial or low usage is not refunded, and approved refunds take around two to three weeks.
No. Credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and unused credits are not carried into the next month. You can buy extra credits if you run out, but a quiet month simply loses its allowance, so size the rung to your real monthly volume rather than your busiest month.
Not a public one. The only API mentioned is a Digital Asset Management API listed on the Enterprise plan, and no API pricing is published. Self-serve plans connect to ad accounts through integrations with Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Pinterest rather than through an API.
For creator-style UGC video from a product URL on a plan counted in finished ads, AdsGen fits. For avatar video ads with an ad launcher, Creatify is worth pricing. Keep AdCreative.ai if static banners are most of your volume; many teams run a static tool and a video tool side by side.
