Kling AI pricing has four paid plans. Read on 26 October 2026, the list prices are Standard $10 for 660 credits, Pro $37 for 3,000, Premier $207 for 18,000 and Ultra+ $619 for 57,000 a month. New subscribers get a first-month discount, so the number on the card is not what renews: Standard renews at $8.80, Pro at $32.56, Premier at $181.99 and Ultra+ at $544.99. The API prices video by the second, from $0.084 for 720p on Kling 3.0.

Making ads, not clips? Kling gives you footage. Writing the script, the hook and the caption timing is the slower job. See AdsGen plans and paste a product URL to get UGC scripts and 9:16 videos with burned-in captions.

Kling AI pricing plans and credits

Kling sells a free Basic tier and four paid memberships. The figures below come from the membership page with the monthly toggle selected, read on 26 October 2026. Prices are in US dollars before tax.

PlanCredits a monthList priceFirst monthThen renews at
BasicNone fixed$0$0$0
Standard660$10$6.99$8.80
Pro3,000$37$25.99$32.56
Premier18,000$207$135$181.99
Ultra+57,000$619$402$544.99

The page also shows a Yearly 40% Off toggle. We did not verify the yearly totals, so budget from the monthly figures above and confirm the yearly price at checkout. The Premier card displays selectable credit amounts (8K to 38K); the 18,000 figure is the one in the comparison table.

What does a Kling credit really cost

The membership page prints a "price per 100 credits" row of $1.06, $0.87, $0.75 and $0.71 from Standard up to Ultra+. Divide each plan's first-month price by its credits and you get exactly those numbers. They are first-month prices, not renewal prices.

PlanPer 100 credits as shownPer 100 credits at renewal
Standard$1.06$1.33
Pro$0.87$1.09
Premier$0.75$1.01
Ultra+$0.71$0.96

At renewal the real spread is $1.33 down to $0.96, a 28 percent difference between the smallest and largest plan, not the 33 percent the card suggests. The step from Standard to Pro is the one that matters most, because it cuts the renewal cost per credit by about a fifth for $23.76 more a month.

If you plan to run Kling for a month and leave, the first-month price is real. If you plan to keep it, budget the renewal column. The offer is stated as available once per account.

How much does one Kling AI video cost

This is the part Kling does not answer on the membership page. Plans list credits, but the page does not print how many credits a second of video takes on each model, and the cost moves with model, resolution and audio. The one place Kling publishes a per-second rate is the API price list, where one unit is $0.14 of video. Those rates are a clean way to compare models.

Model and option720p a second1080p a second4K a second
Kling 3.0, no native audio$0.084$0.112$0.42
Kling 3.0, native audio, no voice control$0.126$0.168$0.42
Kling 3.0 Turbo$0.112$0.14Not offered

Turn that into ad terms. A 15-second 1080p clip on Kling 3.0 costs $1.68 without audio and $2.52 with native audio. The same clip in 4K costs $6.30. A 30-second spot at 1080p with audio is $5.04.

Those are the cost of a clip that works. Nobody gets the first generation right, so divide by the attempts. At four tries per keeper, a 15-second 1080p clip with audio lands near $10 and the 4K version near $25. Product ads usually need a hook, a demo shot and a close, which is three keepers, so a single finished ad can run $30 or more at 1080p before anyone edits it.

Is Kling AI free

The Basic tier is free but has no fixed monthly credits on the membership page, and the paid benefits list includes brand watermark removal and a line saying generated content is for commercial use. The comparison grid shows these as icons, and we could not read which tiers carry them from the page text. Do not run paid ads from Basic output. Check the benefit rows for your target plan on the membership page, and confirm the license in writing before you publish anything a client paid for.

Kling API pricing versus the subscription

The API suits a team that renders in volume or builds its own tool, because you pay only per second and there is no monthly floor. It also needs developer time, error handling and a way to review output. For one marketer making a few ads a week, the subscription is the simpler path. For an agency rendering hundreds of clips, run the per-second numbers above against the credit math before committing to Premier or Ultra+.

Kling inside other tools

Kling models are also sold through other platforms. Higgsfield, for example, gives its Plus and Ultra plans a 7-day window of Kling 3.0 with no credits deducted. If you are weighing both, read what Higgsfield Unlimited actually covers and Higgsfield pricing before deciding where to buy Kling access.

Which Kling plan to buy for ads

  • Testing one product: Standard for a month. 660 credits is enough to learn how the model behaves, not to run a campaign.
  • One brand, a few ads a week: Pro. It is the first plan where the renewal cost per credit drops meaningfully.
  • Agency or several brands: Premier or Ultra+, but only after you have measured your own credits per finished ad on Pro. Do not buy the top tier on the per-credit price alone.

If the footage is for a real person speaking to camera, generated video is the wrong tool for the claim you want to make. When the ad needs a genuine creator, a marketplace such as where brands brief and pay real UGC creators is the honest route, and AI is the cheaper way to test angles first.

Where AdsGen fits

Kling answers "can I generate this shot". It does not decide what the ad should say. AdsGen takes a product URL and returns up to 20 UGC scripts across 6 angles per batch, then renders selected scripts as 9:16 videos with burned-in captions. Plans start at $49 a month billed yearly.

AdsGen plans include few video renders. Starter includes 1 a month, Growth 2 and Scale 6, so Kling wins on raw clip volume. AdsGen makes sense when the bottleneck is knowing which hook to spend renders on. The AdsGen pricing page lists the allowances.

Is Kling AI free?

Does Kling AI have an API?

Yes. Pricing is per second of video by model and resolution, with one unit equal to $0.14 for video. Kling 3.0 and 3.0 Omni start at $0.084 a second for 720p without native audio. The Kling 3.0 series is described as fully available on the developer site.

Which Kling plan is best for ads?

Pro suits one brand making a few ads a week, because it is the first plan where the renewal cost per credit falls to $1.09 per 100. Standard is for a one-month test. Move to Premier or Ultra+ only after measuring how many credits one finished ad takes.
