TopView AI Review: TopView Reviews, Pricing, Is It Worth It?

TopView AI holds 3.8 on Trustpilot from 196 reviews, split 58% five-star against 25% one-star, and most one-star reviews are about unlimited queues and refunds. Its credits are the cheapest in the category on annual billing, but two of its four discount badges are measured against list prices nobody pays.

TopView AI is a legitimate, fast-moving AI video tool with the cheapest credits in its category on annual billing, and it is worth it if you generate product videos every week and can live with a 3-day refund window. It holds 3.8 on Trustpilot from 196 reviews, split 58% five-star against 25% one-star, and most one-star reviews are about "unlimited" plans that queue for hours and refunds that never arrived. Two of its four discount badges are measured against list prices nobody pays: Ultra's "Save $1200" is really $840 against the $120 monthly price.

We read TopView's pricing page (server HTML and the rendered page, including the billing toggle, the team seat stepper and the credit pack modal), its terms of service updated 9 September 2026, its API billing docs and its Trustpilot profile on 17 September 2026. Below is what a buyer needs before entering a card: what each plan really costs per ad, which discount claims hold, what the refund rule allows, and where TopView is simply the better purchase.

What do TopView AI reviews say?

The five-star reviews are about value and pace. Reviewers call the credits the cheapest they have found, like how often features ship, find UGC-style product videos easy to make, and several say it is more flexible than Higgsfield. For an ecommerce seller who wants product videos from a link without learning a model shelf, that praise is earned.

The one-star reviews cluster around the unlimited plans, and that is the part to read carefully. The common complaint is that Ultra's "unlimited" generation, bought on the $599.90 annual plan, sits in queues of two to twenty-four hours. The others are refunds that did not arrive, support with no human behind it, the site going offline, and an accidental $29 subscription.

The shape matters more than the average. A 3.8 made of 58% five-star and 25% one-star is a barbell: a quarter of reviewers had a bad enough time to give the lowest score. Two details help you weigh it. Trustpilot shows that TopView asks customers to review, and 18 of the 20 most recent reviews came through its invitation form. Of the 20 most recent one-star reviews, 18 were written without an invitation. TopView has replied to 76% of its negative reviews, which is higher than most of this category.

If you search "is topview ai legit", Google may still show an older Trustpilot snippet reading 2.9 from 67 reviews. The live page reads 3.8 from 196.

How much does TopView AI cost?

Pro is $29 a month or $16 a month billed annually, Business is $75 or $44, Ultra is $120 or $50, and Team is $130 or $56 per seat with a two-seat minimum. Enterprise is sales-led and adds SSO, no training on your data and legal indemnification. These were read on the live page on 17 September 2026.

PlanList priceBilled monthlyBilled annually, per monthCreditsConcurrent tasks
Pro$29$29$16 ($192 a year)80 a month, or 960 a year upfront4
Business$75$75$44 ($528 a year)250 a month, or 3,000 a year upfront8
Ultra$150$120$50 ($599.90 a year)500 a month, expiring monthly12
Team, per seat$180$130$56 ($672 a year)500 per seat a month30 in total

The annual column hides a delivery difference worth knowing. On annual Pro and Business you get the whole year's credits upfront, 960 or 3,000, and they reset each year, which suits bursty launch work. Annual Ultra is the opposite: 500 credits arrive on each billing day and each drop expires on the next one, and those credits cannot be used for API calls. For the full plan-by-plan detail see our TopView AI pricing breakdown.

Are TopView's discount badges accurate?

On Pro and Business, yes. Pro's "44% OFF" is 44.8% ($16 against $29) and Business's "41% OFF" is 41.3%. On Ultra and Team the badge is measured against a list price that the monthly buyer never pays.

Ultra lists at $150 but costs $120 on monthly billing, where its card carries a "20% OFF" badge of its own. The annual card says "66% OFF" and "Save $1200 compared to monthly", which is $150 minus $50, times twelve. Against the $120 you would actually pay month to month, annual Ultra saves 58.3%, or $840 a year. Team works the same way: "68% OFF" against a $180 list, 56.9% against the real $130 monthly seat price.

There is also a small inconsistency on the same page. The banner promises "Up to 66% off" (67% in the server HTML), while the Team card shows 68%, more than the maximum the banner states. None of this makes annual Ultra a bad deal: at $50 a month for 500 credits it is the cheapest credit TopView sells. It does mean the saving is $840, not $1,200, and that is the number to put in a budget.

What does a 30-second ad cost on TopView?

It depends on which TopView tool makes it, and the spread is wide. TopView's API docs, which it says match website billing for most features, charge its URL-to-video marketing ad 5 credits per exported video, with previews returned before export. Avatar 4 costs 0.1 credits a second, so 3 credits for 30 seconds. A model-generated clip on Seedance 2.5 at 720p costs 6 credits per 4 seconds, 45 for 30 seconds, or 36 during the current 20% promotion on annual Business and Ultra.

Plan and billingCost per creditURL-to-video export (5 credits)Exports a month30s Seedance 2.5 720p
Pro, $29 monthly36.3 cents$1.81161 clip
Business, $75 monthly30.0 cents$1.50505 clips
Ultra, $120 monthly24.0 cents$1.2010011 clips
Ultra, $50 annual10.0 cents$0.5010013 clips at $3.60 with the promo

That $3.60 is the figure TopView prints on its own Team card for 30 seconds of Seedance 2.5 at 720p, so the arithmetic matches the vendor's. Two things to add before you budget. Avatar 4 tasks are refunded in full if they fail, which is fairer than most rivals. And TopView reserves the right to change credit costs at any time without notice, so the table is a snapshot, not a contract.

Can you use the TopView API on every plan?

Not with plan credits. TopView's FAQ says Pro and Business include both API and MCP, while Ultra and Team include MCP but not API. The Ultra and Team cards now read "API access (not with plan credits)", and the credit pack modal says all top-up credits can be used for API calls. So on the two dearer plans the API works only with credits you buy separately, from $30 for 100 up to $936 for 5,000.

The unlimited allowances never reach the API at all. TopView states that unlimited models and free generations are accessible only on topview.ai, not through MCP, the CLI, the API or other automation. If your plan is to generate ads programmatically, Business is the plan that makes sense, not Ultra.

Does TopView have a refund policy?

Yes, and it is short. The terms updated on 9 September 2026 allow a refund "within three (3) days from the date of purchase, without providing any reason, provided that the credits allocated to your payment have not been consumed". They add that the credit value of any unlimited tasks you ran is deducted from the refund. There is no separate refund page; the URL returns a 404.

In practice that works like Higgsfield's rule: the only way to evaluate TopView is to generate something, and generating something consumes credits. Treat the refund as protection against an accidental purchase, not against disappointment. Subscriptions renew automatically and you can cancel from account settings at any time, keeping access to the end of the period. You cannot downgrade directly; you cancel and subscribe again. Deleting the account forfeits remaining credits.

Can you use TopView videos in ads and for clients?

On a paid plan, yes. The terms assign to you "all right, title, and interest" TopView may have in the videos and say you may use your output for any lawful purpose, and the plan table ticks commercial licence and watermark-free export on every paid plan. Free users are expressly barred from using the service for advertising.

Agencies should note three limits. There is no clause that names transferring output to clients, though ownership being assigned to you covers the ordinary handover. Reselling the service itself is prohibited, as is sharing credentials under the unlimited fair-use rule. And TopView may train on your content and output by default; you opt out by emailing support, while Enterprise customers are excluded automatically. If a client's contract forbids model training on their assets, send that email before you upload. Any avatar of a real person needs that person's documented written consent, which TopView may ask to see.

Teams hit one more practical limit. The Team plan has a hard two-seat minimum at $56 a seat annually, and most small brands have more people requesting videos than holding seats, so someone ends up deciding who generates what. A tool that routes each creative request to whoever holds a seat saves that job from landing on the busiest person in the room.

Is TopView.ai worth it?

Yes for a high-volume ecommerce seller who wants product videos from a link, can use annual Business or Ultra, and does not need the unlimited queue to be fast. At 10 cents a credit on annual Ultra, TopView sells the cheapest generation we have priced in this category, and its model shelf (Seedance, Kling, Veo, Wan, Sora 2) is broad.

Think harder if any of these apply. You want to test before committing, since the refund window is three days and closes on first use. You are buying Ultra for "unlimited" and need output the same day, which is exactly what the one-star reviews say it does not deliver. You plan to automate through the API on Ultra or Team. Or you handle client assets that must not be used for training and would forget the opt-out email.

If TopView is on a shortlist with a rival, we have priced the head-to-heads: TopView AI vs Higgsfield for the model-marketplace comparison, TopView AI vs HeyGen if the job is a talking presenter, and TopView AI vs Creatify for the closest product-URL rival. Our HeyGen review and Higgsfield review apply the same checks to those two.

How AdsGen approaches the same job differently

TopView gives you a model shelf and a credit meter and lets you steer. AdsGen does one narrower thing: you paste a product URL, and it reads the page, picks the angles, writes UGC-style scripts with different hooks, and returns finished 9:16 ads with AI presenters and burned-in captions. Plans are counted in finished ads rather than credits, so a hook that loses costs the same as one that wins and there is no queue tier to wait in.

The limits are worth stating. Output is vertical with captions burned in, which suits paid social and not a landscape brand film. A thin product page gives the engine less to work with. The presenters are generated, so they are not customers and must never be presented as real testimonials. And we do not offer TopView's breadth of models, which is its real strength. If you want to see the difference on your own product, the demo at the top of this page runs the real engine on a URL you paste, and our TopView AI alternative page sets the two side by side. Plans are on the pricing page.

TopView AI review FAQ

Is TopView AI legit?

Yes. TopView is run by TopView Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, publishes its pricing, terms and API docs, and holds 3.8 on Trustpilot from 196 reviews as of 17 September 2026. The 25% of one-star reviews are mostly about slow unlimited queues, refunds and support rather than whether the product works. Google may still show an older 2.9 snippet.

Is TopView AI free or paid?

Paid. There is no free plan on the pricing page, only free credits to try the tool, and TopView's terms prohibit free users from using the service for any commercial purpose, including advertising. The cheapest paid plan is Pro at $29 a month, or $16 a month billed annually for 960 credits delivered upfront.

How much is TopView AI per month?

Pro is $29, Business $75, Ultra $120 and Team $130 per seat on monthly billing. On annual billing they are $16, $44, $50 and $56 per seat a month. Team has a two-seat minimum and Enterprise is sales-led. Read on TopView's pricing page on 17 September 2026.

Do TopView credits roll over?

No. TopView's FAQ says unused credits do not roll over to the next month, though they carry over if you upgrade or switch from monthly to annual. Annual Pro and Business credits arrive upfront and reset yearly; annual Ultra credits arrive monthly and each drop expires on the next billing day. Top-up credits last 24 months.

Can I get a refund from TopView?

Only within three days of purchase and only if the credits from that payment are unused, per its terms updated on 9 September 2026, and the credit value of any unlimited tasks is deducted. Cancelling stops renewal but does not refund the current period, and deleting the account forfeits remaining credits.
