Billo Pricing: What UGC Videos Cost in 2026
Billo stopped publishing prices. The billo.app pricing URL returns a 301 to a login screen, no pricing page remains in the sitemap, and the public site prints no per-video figure. The only open numbers left are $499 a month for Billo+ and from $2,000 a month for the managed service. Packs are prepaid balance, and Billo's own help centre gives three different expiry periods for that balance: 12 months, 18 months on the Venture pack, and 3 months on all other packs. Unused credits are non-refundable.

Billo no longer publishes a price. As of September 8, 2026 the billo.app/pricing page returns a 301 redirect to a login screen, there is no pricing URL left in the sitemap, and the public marketing site does not print a per-video figure anywhere. The only prices Billo still states in the open are $499 a month for its Billo+ subscription and "starting from $2,000 / month" for its managed service. Everything per-video now sits behind an account or a sales call.
That matters more than it sounds, because Billo is a prepaid platform. You do not pay per video at checkout the way the older reviews describe. You buy a pack, the money lands in a balance, and you spend the balance on orders. Prepaid money has an expiry date, and Billo's own help pages currently give three different answers about what that date is.
How much does Billo cost?
The honest answer in September 2026 is that you cannot find out without signing up. We checked the pricing URL, the sitemap, the homepage, the for-brands page and the managed-service page. Here is everything Billo still states publicly.
| What Billo publishes | Price | How it is billed |
|---|---|---|
| Billo+ subscription | $499 per month | Monthly, cancel anytime |
| Managed service | From $2,000 per month | Monthly, in advance |
| Video packs and credits | Not published | Prepaid balance |
| Per-video price | Not published | Deducted from balance |
| Partnership ads and posting | Set by each creator | Added per order |
The two published figures come from Billo's own help centre and its managed-service page. Everything marked not published is visible only once you have an account.
Third-party roundups still quote a starting figure, but they do not agree with each other. Some say $99 per video, others say roughly $59, and a few describe packs running from $500 up to $30,000. None of those numbers can be checked against a live Billo page today, and several of the pages carrying them were written before the pricing page came down. Treat any per-video figure you read about Billo, including the ones above, as unverifiable until you are logged in and looking at your own checkout.
Where did Billo's pricing page go?
It redirects. A request to billo.app/pricing/ returns HTTP 301 with a Location header pointing at manage.billo.app/login/, and the XML sitemap lists page, post, career, case-study and FAQ sections with no pricing entry among them. The marketing site's own navigation now routes buyers to a demo booking or a for-brands form instead.
The for-brands form is the more revealing of the two. Before it will take an enquiry it asks for your usual monthly social media ad spend, and the smallest bracket on offer is $15K to $30K, rising through $30K to $75K, $75K to $300K and $300K+. There is no option below $15,000 a month. If you are a small brand testing your first few creatives, Billo's own intake form has quietly told you that you are not the customer it is built around.
Do Billo credits expire?
Yes, and this is the single most expensive thing to miss. Billo's live help centre currently gives three different expiry periods depending on which answer you land on:
| Applies to | Stated validity | Billo help answer it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Balance funds generally | 12 months | Do the funds in my balance expire? |
| The Venture pack | 18 months | Same answer, in brackets |
| Credit packs, TikTok Ultimate | 1 year | Do packs expire? |
| All other packs | 3 months | Same answer, next sentence |
| Unspecified | 3 months | Do credits expire? |
Read those together and the picture is that the headline "funds are valid for 12 months" applies to the balance, while most named packs run on a 90-day clock. A brand that buys a pack in January expecting a year of runway, then films through a slow spring, can reach April with the credits already gone. Billo states plainly that unused funds expire and are non-refundable, and a separate answer to "Are unused credits refundable?" is a one-word "No."
The fix is not complicated, but you have to know to ask. Before you buy any pack, get the expiry for that specific pack in writing, because the public help centre will not settle it for you.
Are Billo packs refundable?
Partly, and the trigger is narrower than a normal refund. Billo offers a money-back guarantee if you are unable to select a creator within 30 days of your first task creation, and says larger packs carry an enhanced policy with a full no-questions refund inside 30 days. Both clocks start from activity, not from purchase, and neither covers the ordinary case of buying credits and simply not using them. Payment is credit card only.
There is one more mechanical detail worth knowing. Packs are not fungible money. Billo issues a promo code against the pack, and its help centre states that you can only order the specific video types, durations and additional services that came with the pack, and that credit packs cannot be used to buy more packs. So a pack is closer to a voucher book than a store credit, and a change of creative direction mid-quarter can strand the value inside it.
Is Billo a subscription?
Not by default. Billo's help centre is explicit that it is not a subscription service and that no automatic charges are made against your account, which is genuinely good news for cash flow and unusual in this category. The exception is Billo+, the $499 a month subscription package, which is cancellable at any time, and the managed service at $2,000 a month and up, billed monthly in advance.
So there are effectively three ways to buy: prepay a pack and draw it down, subscribe to Billo+, or hand the whole workflow to the managed team. The first is the one most brands start with, and it is the only one where the price is invisible until you are inside.
The cost stack most buyers do not plan for
The video price is not the whole invoice once you want the creator to post it. Billo's help centre describes partnership ads as three separate charges: the video itself, an organic posting fee, and a partnership ads fee. The video price varies with length, editing and add-ons. The posting fee is set by each individual creator for a 30-day post on their own profile. The partnership ads fee, again creator-set, is what buys you the right to run ads from their handle for 30 days.
None of those three numbers is published, and the second and third are not even set by Billo. On the creator side the base fees visible in Billo's help pages sit at $150, $70 and $30 per approved post depending on tier, which gives some sense of the floor a brand is building on, but the brand-facing rate is quoted per creator and per campaign.
Two free revisions are included, and they must stay within the brief you originally submitted. Creator payment is included in the video price, so there is no separate negotiation or transfer to handle.
What Billo pricing means if you are comparing it to AI UGC
Billo sells human creators filming your actual product, and there are jobs only that can do. If you need a real person holding a physical item, demonstrating texture, taste or fit, or you need a creator's own audience to see the post, a marketplace is the right purchase and an AI tool is not a substitute. The trade you are making is on cost per test and on speed.
The practical difference shows up when you count creatives rather than videos. Paid social needs volume: a dozen hooks against the same offer, cut three ways each, most of them losing. On a prepaid pack, every one of those tests spends real balance against a clock, and a losing hook costs the same as a winning one. That is the arithmetic that pushes brands to test angles synthetically first and commission human creators for the handful that already proved out.
| What you are buying | Billo | AdsGen |
|---|---|---|
| Published price before signup | None per video, login required | Plans published on the pricing page |
| Payment model | Prepaid packs drawn from a balance | Monthly plan counted in finished ads |
| Money expiring unused | Yes, 3 to 18 months depending on pack | No prepaid balance to expire |
| Turnaround per creative | Days, creator selection then filming | Minutes from a product URL |
| Real person with your product | Yes, this is the point of it | No, AI presenters and generated footage |
| Creator posts to their own audience | Yes, as a paid add-on | No, ads run from your own accounts |
| Cost of a losing hook | Full video price from balance | Another render inside the plan |
If it is the marketplace model itself you have soured on rather than the price, the route brands reach for next is hiring creators directly, which means finding and booking freelance videographers yourself and absorbing the briefing, contracting and chasing that the platform had been doing. That is cheaper per video and considerably more expensive in hours.
How to price a Billo pack properly before you buy
Four questions settle it, and all four have to be answered by a human at Billo rather than by a public page:
- What is the exact expiry on this specific pack, in days, from the date of purchase rather than the date of first use?
- What per-video price does the balance actually draw down at, for the video length and editing tier we need?
- Which video types and durations is this pack's promo code locked to?
- If we want creators to post, what do posting and partnership ads add per creator?
Then divide the pack price by the number of usable creatives you will realistically ship inside the expiry window, not by the number of videos the pack nominally contains. Those two numbers are rarely the same, and the gap between them is where prepaid creative budgets quietly die.
One small tell about how closely the help centre is maintained: several credit-expiry answers still on the live site reference deadlines of January 31, 2023, June 1, 2023 and June 30, 2023. They are years out of date and sitting alongside the current ones, which is another reason to get your pack's terms confirmed directly rather than inferred.
Billo pricing FAQ
How much does Billo cost per video? Billo does not publish a per-video price in September 2026. The pricing page redirects to a login, so the figure is only visible once you have an account. Older third-party pages quote $59 and $99, and those figures conflict with each other and cannot be verified against any live Billo page.
How much is Billo+? $499 per month, cancellable at any time, per Billo's own help centre.
Does Billo have a free plan? There is a free signup that lets you look at the platform, but placing a video order requires funded balance or a paid plan.
Is there a Billo minimum spend? Not a published one for packs, but the brand enquiry form's lowest ad-spend bracket is $15K to $30K a month, which is a fair signal of the segment Billo is selling into.
What is the cheapest way to get UGC-style ads without a prepaid pack? A monthly plan you can cancel, where the unit is a finished ad rather than a credit with an expiry date. That is the model we built our Billo alternative around, and you can see what AI UGC ad generators cost across the category before you commit to either approach.
If you run creative for several clients rather than one brand, the pack-expiry problem multiplies by the number of accounts, which is why it comes up so often in UGC ads for agencies. For a single store, the fastest way to see whether generated creative clears your bar is to paste a product URL into the tool at the top of this page and look at what comes back.
