Revid AI is a capable short-form video tool built for faceless channels and scheduled posting, and it is worth paying for if you want a daily stream of TikTok, Reels and Shorts content on autopilot. As a video ad tool it is cheaper than it looks for simple ads and dearer than it looks for good ones: a 30-second ad built from moving images costs 37 credits, about 72 cents on Growth, while the same ad on Revid's Pro AI video model costs 341 credits, $6.65 on Growth and $5.65 on Ultra. It holds 4.0 on Trustpilot from 304 reviews, with 26 percent one-star, and most of those are about being charged after cancelling. Subscriptions are non-refundable except at Revid's discretion.
We read Revid's pricing page and the plan data its JavaScript ships to the browser, its published credit-cost sheet, its free credit estimator, the API docs, the terms of service, the privacy policy, Trustpilot, Capterra and Product Hunt on 26 September 2026. This review is written for someone about to enter a card to make video ads with Revid. It covers what an ad really costs on each plan, which plan the page quietly hides, what the one-star reviews have in common, and when you should buy Revid instead of what we sell.

What Revid AI actually does
Revid is a short-form content engine first. It turns a prompt, a script, an article or a link into a vertical video with voiceover, captions and either stock, generated images or AI video clips. It has a library of viral videos to remix, talking avatars, face swap, and publishing straight to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Its signature feature is Auto-Mode: workers that generate and post videos on a schedule while you are away, three on Growth, five on Elite and ten on Ultra.
The ad generator is one tool inside that. Revid markets it as "URL to Video Ad, Paste a Link", while the same page's hero says it generates ads "from a product image", and the API's ad workflow accepts a prompt or product images rather than a URL. In practice you should expect to supply product images and a brief. Output ratios cover 9:16, 16:9 and 1:1, and the API adds 4:5.
That breadth is why Revid shows up on shortlists next to dedicated ad tools, and it is also why its pricing is shaped around a creator posting every day rather than an advertiser testing ten hooks on one product.
How much does Revid AI cost?
It depends on whether you are logged in, which is the first thing worth knowing. A logged-out visitor sees three cards: Hobby at $39, Growth at $39 (struck from $99, "discount locked in forever") and Ultra at $199. The plan data behind the page shows Hobby and Growth share the same product and the same checkout links. They are one plan with two labels, 2,000 credits a month, not a cheaper tier.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly, per month | Credits a month | Per credit, monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Growth (also shown as Hobby) | $39 | $32 | 2,000 | 1.95 cents |
| Elite (logged-in only) | $89 | $74 | 5,000 | 1.78 cents |
| Ultra | $199 | $166 | 12,000 | 1.66 cents |
| Ultra 30k / 50k | $459 / $749 | Monthly only | 30,000 / 50,000 | 1.53 / 1.50 cents |
| Ultra 100k / 200k | $1,459 / $2,799 | Monthly only | 100,000 / 200,000 | 1.46 / 1.40 cents |
Elite is the plan to know about. At $89 for 5,000 credits it sits in the gap between Growth's 2,000 and Ultra's 12,000, and it is shown to logged-in and existing customers rather than to someone reading the pricing page cold. A buyer who needs around 5,000 credits and only sees the public cards is pushed to $199. Create the account first, then look at the plans. Some visitors are also placed in a test that shows a Lite plan at $29 for 1,500 credits.
Annual billing saves 16.6 to 17.9 percent, a modest discount by the standard of this category. Revid also sells one-off credit packs, $49 for 1,000 up to $1,900 for 100,000, and every pack costs more per credit than a plan at the same money: the $199 pack is 1.99 cents a credit against 1.66 on the $199 Ultra plan. If you keep running out, move up a plan rather than buying packs. Our full Revid AI pricing breakdown lists every rung and pack.
How many credits does a Revid video cost?
Revid now publishes its credit costs, and it runs a free estimator, which puts it ahead of several tools we have reviewed. AI video clips are billed per second at a rate set by the model: 15 credits per 5 seconds on Low, 50 on Pro, 100 on Ultra and Veo 3, 130 on Sora 2 and 250 on Seedance at 1080p. Voice is 10 credits per 500 characters and avatars 40 to 200 per 500 characters.
| 30-second ad, Revid estimator | Credits | Growth $39 | Ultra $199 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ad generator, moving images | 37 | $0.72 | $0.61 |
| Ad generator, Low AI video | 110 | $2.15 | $1.83 |
| Ad generator, Pro AI video | 341 | $6.65 | $5.65 |
| Ad generator, Veo 3 | 671 | $13.08 | $11.13 |
| Ad generator, Sora 2 | 869 | $16.95 | $14.41 |
| Talking avatar, Good | 134 | $2.61 | $2.22 |
The spread is the story. A slideshow-style ad of moving product images is under a dollar, and a Veo 3 ad is over $11 on the biggest standard plan. On Growth's 2,000 credits that is about 54 slideshow ads a month or about six Pro AI video ads, and fewer once you count the renders you throw away. One more thing to check: the FAQ on Revid's ad tool page says each ad generation costs 1 credit, which its own estimator contradicts. Budget from the estimator.
Is Revid AI worth it for video ads?
For cheap, fast product ads built from images, yes. At under a dollar a 30-second ad, Growth at $39 buys enough volume to test many hooks, and the included API, MCP server and CLI let a technical marketer script the whole thing. For ads that need believable motion or a person on screen, it is a mid-priced option at best: $5.65 to $6.65 a Pro video ad is more than Creatify charges for a 30-second avatar ad on its Pro plan, and credits do not roll over, so a month of light testing leaves the rest of the balance to expire.
Revid is built for someone who posts every day. If you are running a faceless channel or a brand account on Auto-Mode, the per-credit price is among the lowest we have priced and the workflow is the product. If your job is paid ads, the question is simpler: what does a usable ad cost after the attempts that did not work? For creators the other half of that sum is what the channel earns, and it helps to track every payout from each platform in one place before you decide Ultra pays for itself.
What the Revid Trustpilot reviews say
Revid holds 4.0 on Trustpilot from 304 reviews: 52 percent five-star, 16 percent four-star, 3 percent each for three and two, and 26 percent one-star. That is a barbell with a heavy bottom, more lopsided than Creatify's 77 to 17 split and far better than the tools where one-star outnumbers five.
The praise is about speed: a finished short in minutes from a text prompt. The one-star reviews from 2026 repeat a narrower theme than usual. Five of them describe being charged after cancelling, several describe multiple or unexpected charges, and a run of August reviews say refunds were refused and support stopped answering. A smaller group describes prompts being ignored and hundreds of credits spent on output that missed.
Two notes on Revid's own claims. Its /reviews page quotes the Trustpilot rating accurately but from a July snapshot with a slightly kinder split, and the structured data on its pricing page declares 4.8 from 134 ratings without a source. Its user counts disagree with each other too: 3,000,000 creators signed up on one page, 14,258 on the pricing page. Neither tells you anything about ads.
Refunds, cancellation and the clauses to read first
The terms, last updated in May 2024 and issued by TMAKER, a company registered in Paris, say subscriptions are generally non-refundable. A refund is at Revid's discretion and only if you have used less than 10 percent of your credits and paid within the last 30 days. EU customers waive the 14-day withdrawal right once they start using the service. You can cancel at any time from Account Settings and keep access to the end of the period.
Given how many reviews describe charges after cancelling, screenshot the cancellation confirmation and check the next statement. Credits do not roll over at renewal, and yearly plans receive their credits on the first of each month rather than in one pool.
The ownership terms are good. Users own the content they create and can use it "however they want even without an active subscription", although any new export needs a live plan. The privacy policy says no user data is used to train AI models. What the terms do not contain is anything on likeness, consent or advertising: Revid's own help material says celebrity-style avatars exist and users are responsible for lawful use. If you run a face in a paid ad, that liability is yours, and a generated presenter is not a customer, so never caption one as a testimonial. The terms also name no governing law.
When to buy Revid instead of AdsGen
Buy Revid if you want an automated posting machine: workers that make and publish shorts every day across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, which we do not do at all.
Buy Revid if you need landscape or square output as well as vertical, or a public API on a $39 plan. We render 9:16 only and have no public API.
Buy Revid if your ads are simple image-led product spots and cost per ad is the only metric, because 37 credits for a 30-second slideshow ad is hard to beat.
Look elsewhere if the job is testing UGC-style ads with a person talking to camera about your product, where the realistic options on Revid cost several dollars a render on a meter that resets monthly.
What AdsGen does instead
You paste a product URL. We read the page for the product, its claims and its images, write UGC-style scripts with several different hooks and angles, and return finished vertical video ads with AI presenters and burned-in captions, ready for TikTok, Meta or Shorts. The plan is counted in finished ads, not credits, so the twelfth variation costs what the first one did. See our AdsGen plans for what each includes.
The limits, stated plainly: output is 9:16 only, with captions burned in, so it suits paid social and not a landscape pre-roll. A thin or image-only product page gives the model less to work with. We do not auto-publish, schedule posts, clone voices or offer an API. You can run the demo at the top of this page on your own product URL before paying.
Revid AI review FAQ
Is Revid AI worth it?
For a creator posting short videos daily, yes: Growth at $39 buys 2,000 credits at 1.95 cents each, with Auto-Mode posting and an API included. For paid ads it depends on the format. A 30-second image-led ad costs 37 credits, under a dollar, while a Pro AI video ad costs 341 credits, about $6.65 on Growth.
Is Revid AI legit?
Yes. Revid is run by TMAKER, a company registered in Paris, and holds 4.0 on Trustpilot from 304 reviews. The 26 percent one-star share is mostly about billing: charges after cancelling and refused refunds. The product works; check the terms and your statement. There is no official Revid app in the US App Store.
How much does Revid AI cost per month?
Growth, also labelled Hobby, is $39 a month for 2,000 credits, or $32 billed yearly. Elite is $89 for 5,000 credits and appears once you are logged in. Ultra starts at $199 for 12,000 credits and rises to $2,799 for 200,000. Credit packs run from $49 for 1,000 to $1,900 for 100,000.
Does Revid AI give refunds?
Rarely. The terms say subscriptions are generally non-refundable. Revid may refund at its discretion if you used less than 10 percent of your credits and paid within the last 30 days. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps access to the end of the period, but nothing already billed is returned automatically.
Can I use Revid AI videos commercially?
Yes. The terms say users own 100 percent of the content they create and can use it however they want, even after the subscription ends. New exports need an active plan. The terms say nothing about likeness or advertising consent, so rights to any face or voice in an ad are your responsibility.
